Previous GTA maps treated water as scenery around the edges. The footage for Leonida shows keys, swamp and coastline threaded through the map, which changes what a boat is for.
Three reasons to keep one
- Escape. Police cars cannot follow. See losing the police.
- Access. Some locations in a coastal map are simply faster to reach by water.
- Work. Every previous GTA has tied smuggling to boats somewhere.
